It’s not a retreat. It’s a reclamation.

We take care of all the things, so you can take care of you. Your decisions are about you. Your actions are about you. And this is something we all need.

Shannon Langer jumped into a career in national security after college and in 2018 became a senior executive at her agency driving operational excellence. Bridget Matty went from Capitol Hill to counterterrorism policy work, traveling around the world building partnerships to make our country safer. We met while working at the White House National Security Council, a truly exhilarating but exhausting experience! While we are proud of our professional achievements, over the years we sometimes found ourselves on a one-way train to Burnout Central.

Exhausted Girl was born from the experiences of women just like you—professional women who found themselves burnt out and longing for a break. We craved a space where we didn’t have to be in charge, where we could simply unwind and connect with others who understood our struggles.

Recognizing that many women share this desire, we created Exhausted Girl to provide the support and sanctuary we once needed but couldn't find. We’ve all enjoyed wonderful weekends away with friends, but someone always had to plan—making reservations, ordering Ubers, and reminding everyone to settle up. That meant someone was always in charge, making it hard to truly relax.

At Exhausted Girl Getaways, that is all handled. Come with friends, or come to make new friends, but give yourself a long weekend to take care of you.
